Bill Payne, co-founder of legendary roots rock band Little Feat and member of Leftover Salmon, will be coming to Mountain Jam 2015 to perform with Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams!
Payne, who co-founded Little Feat with the late, great Lowell George 35 years ago, has been Little Feat’s keyboardist – and its pilot – throughout the band’s existence, writing and singing such beloved classics as "Oh Atlanta," "Day or Night," "Time Loves a Hero“ and ”Gringo,“ while ”steering a ship that was rudderless," as he puts it. Northern California-rockers Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers kicked off their 3-week residency at Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA on Wednesday, March 11th and Mountain Jam photographer, Jay Blakesberg was on-hand to capture some behind-the-scenes footage of Nicki's backstage warm up with a tune called "Unforgetaboutable" featuring guests Jason Crosby, Victoria George, and Paula Frazer.
