Camping
Camping is by far the best way to experience Mountain Jam! Live among your Mountain Jam family and friends on the hill with beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains!
All campgrounds open at 9am on Thursday, 6/6, and close at 11am on Monday, 6/10.
Mountain Jam offers a variety of different camping options:
Regular Mountain-side Camping
Camp on Hunter’s majestic mountain-side with a 4-Day or 3-Day Pass w/ Camping! All camping tickets include free showers (new in 2013!)! Mountain-side Campers must transport their gear from the parking lot to their campsite by hand, so bring a wagon (Radio Flyers work great!).
Sites are not pre-assigned. You can claim your own site when you arrive and camp with your friends!
VIP Camping
VIP Pass holders have access to the VIP Campgrounds with access to 24-hr indoor bathrooms and free VIP showers.
Regular and VIP Campgrounds will open at 9am on Thursday.
Premium Pre-Pitched Tents
Luxury Pre-Pitched Tents ready for you when you arrive, located atop the Concert Field and Second Stage Field close to everything with room for up to 6 campers, secluded in a quiet little area away from the craziness of the lower campgrounds and near the VIP Hospitality Tents!
Each campsite contains:
- 1 pre-pitched canvas tent
- 4 cots (with option to rent up to 1 additional cot on-site)
- 1 camp table
- 1 rug or ground cloth
- 1 rechargeable lantern
Additionally, There will be an exclusive Lounge area for the Premium Camper at the Village with outdoor bean bags plus a general store for your basic camping needs.
Everyone staying in the Village must have either a Festival Camping Pass or a VIP Festival Pass.
Premium Pre-Pitched Tents may be reserved for $599 (that’s as little as $100 per person for the whole weekend!).

Car Camping – New in 2013!
Don’t feel like dragging your gear up the Mountain? Mountain Jam 2013 will offer a limited number of car-side camping sites for the for the very first time in designated areas. Drive in to your 10′x30′ campsite and enjoy the convenience of having your car and all your belongings with you!
Car Camping Passes must be purchased for $30 per vehicle in addition to your Festival Pass w/ Camping or for $45 per vehicle for VIP Car Camping in addition to your VIP Pass. All Car Camping sites must have exactly 1 vehicle (no more, no less). That means that you can’t have 2 cars on one site, and you can’t have 2 sites for one car!
Car Camping areas will open at 9am on Thursday.
