Regular Tent Camping

Regular Tent Camping is primitive tent camping on Hunter’s majestic mountainside!

If you’d like to park your car in the parking lot and camp up on the hill, this is the option for you. All you need is a 4-Day Pass w/ Camping or 3-Day Pass w/ Camping (1 per person). You may also add a Tent Pass (1 per tent or pop-up) for a guaranteed spot in the campgrounds. Click here for more information about Tent Passes.

Mountain-side tent campers must transport their gear from the parking lot to their campsite by hand, so bring a wagon (Radio Flyers work great!).

Sites are not pre-assigned. You can claim your own site when you arrive and camp with your friends! A minimum of 5 ft of separation must be maintained between all tents in the tent camping area.

Hot shower facilities will be available for a small fee of $5 per shower or $10 for unlimited showers all weekend!

Open flame and cooking of any kind is prohibited in the tent camping area.

Tent Camping is a best option suggested for ADA camping access.

VIP Tent Camping:

VIP Tent Camping is tent camping located in a specially designated area that is closer to the festival fields and and adjacent to the Learning Center and offers the following extra perks.

  • Free hot showers
  • 24-hr access to indoor bathrooms
  • VIP Campgrounds are in close proximity to all of the action!

You MUST have a VIP Pass w/ Camping or a Super VIP Pass w/ Camping (1 per person). You may also add a VIP Tent Pass (1 per tent or pop-up) for a guaranteed spot in the VIP campgrounds.
Open flame and cooking of any kind is prohibited in the tent camping area.
