Ratboy Jr

Ratboy Jr.

Ratboy Jr. is back! In fact, this is their 9th year playing music at Mountain Jam for the whole family to get down to. Friends, this is truly “EVERYONE” music. They have opened for Levon Helm and have played at such festivals as Top of the Park (MI), The Green River Festival (MA), The LEAF Festival (NC), Clearwater Festival (NY),  Strange Creek (NY), and many more. Ratboy Jr. are an award winning rocking duo for all ages, a band for the whole fam, if you will.  Their latest album is called “Hamster Pants” and it has been getting lots of buzz including winning a Parents Choice Recommended award. Parents Choice says, “Hamster Pants is the kind of album you’ll want on the days when the world stops making sense, and your family needs a little absurdity to get through the day.” Kids Corner/WXPN says, “Hamster Pants is rocking silly fun that solidifies the band’s place among the best kindie songwriters today.” Ratboy Jr’s live shows are energetic, engaging, and just plain fun. “The two-man rock band performs its catchy (and often improvised) tunes with a side of onstage banter to break up the music,” says Time Out NY. The big question that will be asked this year is who had more fun at Ratboy Jr’s show? The little kids or the big kids who drove them to Mountain Jam? The answer? Both!
