Mini-Mountain Jam In Central Park
Autumn leaf-peepers in New York City’s Central Park were treated to a very special surprise appearance by Grateful Dead bassist (and two-time Mountain Jam performer) Phil Lesh, playing an impromptu set of funk and jazz alongside fellow Mtn Jam alums Eric Krasno (of Soulive) and Joe Russo (of Furthur, Phil Lesh & Friends).
The performance was part of Jazz & Colors, an annual event presented by Brooklyn Bowl-founder and The Capitol Theatre-owner Peter Shapiro, featuring more than 30 jazz artists performing simultaneously throughout Central Park.
